An important note about how this workshop runs…
This is an experiential workshop in which everyone will participate the process of Constellation Work. I prefer to work with the original single-fee system in my workshops as this way of working feels both more supportive and more aligned with the philosophy of the work than monetarizing a constellation by charging more.
The day will include about 5 or 6 constellations plus guided meditation, discussion and teaching. Those who feel ready to do a piece of work are invited to raise their hand. If, after lunch, there are more people who wish to do a piece of work than there seems time for, names will be put into a hat.
Please be clear that the opportunity to present your own issue is likely, but not guaranteed. However, my consistent experience, over 25 years, has shown me that all those present in the group will, in one way or another, have an equally powerful experience. Whether you have brought the issue, actively participated as a representative, or held the space for the work in the outer circle, each constellation offers profound insight and opportunities for everyone in developing new perspectives and clarity on aspects of our own lives. We will of course all reflect on each piece of work together at the end.

Systemic Constellations offer a methodology that enables us to explore what’s needed and helpful for a healing movement or resolution to occur in complex or sometimes seemingly intractable personal issue that arise from family, relationship, career or existential and spiritual difficulties. At the workshop we will discuss
the principles and practices that support our wellbeing in the various groups (or ‘systems’) to which we belong. We will learn about the systemic forces that underpin healthy, loving connection and then, through the process of observing or participating in a Constellation, we will experience how key events and traumas (which often include issues from previous generations) influence us and may even have led to ‘entanglements’ or ‘hidden loyalties’ that affect our life today.
What is a constellation?
A constellation begins with a conversation in which the difficulty or issue is presented, and the hopes for resolution are identified.
The participant is then asked to select group members to represent elements of the system under consideration. Aspects represented are typically individual people, but may include groups, organisations, countries or abstract concepts.
These ‘representatives’ are ‘set up’ to stand in a configuration called a Constellation or ‘living map’, and they are asked by the facilitator to feed-back basic information which both contributes towards a fuller understanding of the present difficulty and supports movements towards resolution.
By creating a constellation of the issue, we can begin to see what is blocking movement or what it is that needs aligning in order to bring peace, to the whole system.
The system may of course be our family system, our relationship, our working environment or our own integrated health and wellbeing. The constellation approach is able to work with any issue.
Resolutions come from what Bert Hellinger, the originator of this work, calls ‘the Orders of Love’ or ‘Movements of the Spirit,’ and are based on naturally occurring universal forces, such as time and place and inclusion, which govern the balance and health in all systems.
I provide a confidential, safe and supportive environment for this work to be undertaken. The process can be profound and engaging on both intellectual and emotional levels. Please come prepared to participate with a spirit of openness and generosity.
